| THE QUEEN OF FALLS |
Khoiachora waterfalls are located in khoiachora village in mirshorai Upazila. It is 200km south of Dhaka,63 km north of Chittagong, and 101km south of cumilla.It is believed that the Khoiachora waterfalls are flowing almost 50 years ago. It took time to discover its location between massless mountain areas and bushes. Again many people think this fountain was created from the silly diversion.
How will you go?
- From DHAKA you can take the bus which is running DHAKA to CHOTTOGRAM road. You will get the bus from Fokirapool and Syedabad. From Syed Abad, you can get Shohag service, Greenline service, TR travel(ac service)and they will cost around 1000-1200 BDT. Otherwise, you can take Shaymoli poribohon, Hanif poribohon, Saudia poribohon (non-ac service)and They will cost around 480-500BDT. And your bus journey can take around 4/5 hours.
- From CUMILLA it will take 250 BDT and around 2 hours
- From CHITTAGONG it will take 100 BDT and around 90 minutes
Place where you will get down:
From the bus, you will get down to Baratakia Bajar. You will find C.NG in there which will cost 30/40 BDT.And your journey to "THE QUEEN OF FALLS" starts from there. The rest of the journey will be on foot. Your journey by vehicle ends there. After getting down from CNG you will find some local people who are selling bamboo sticks. You can take one. This thing makes your journey impressive. It will cost 10/20 BDT. You can wear tracking shoes. It will be better if you wear three-quarters of the shorts. Story of a beautiful journey:
There are 7 waterfalls and 9 steps in there. I think the 3rd one is the most beautiful which is around 120 feet long.
There are some hotels in Mirshorai Bazar where you can easily have your lunch.
Cost can be:
- RICE 10-20 BDT
- CHICKEN 60-70 BDT
- BEEF/FISH 120-130 BDT
- ALU VHORTA 5-10 BDT
- And you can also try others item
There are not a lot of hotels and restaurants in there. If you wish you can stay in chairman banglow.
